ABOUT YASUNORI SONE

Yasunori Sone is Professor Emeritus, Keio University. He has been a Professor of Political Science and Governance at Keio University Graduate School of Media and Governance. He was a Director of the Center for Deliberative Poll at Keio University. He has been a faculty member of Keio University since 1972 until the end of March 2018. His current research interests include the relationship between policy-analysis and the policy-making, Governance as well as deliberative polling. He was a Chairperson of National Deliberative Poll on Energy and Environment (2012), an Acting Chairperson of the Committee on the House of Representatives election system (2014-16).  He is currently a Provost, Japan Akademeia.
Visiting fellowships were at Yale University (1974-76), The Australian National University (1983-4), Harvard University (1998-99), and Visiting Professor at the University of Essex (1984).
